Religion and Violence: The Biblical Heritage

I just received a flyer in the mail for a conference on religion and violence scheduled at Boston University on Sunday, February 19, and then continued at Wellesley College on Monday, February 20. It looks interesting, and I notice that Paula Fredriksen is one of the speakers. Violence in Israelite religion, the prophetic literature, sacrifice, sectarian rage, and other topics are covered.
